INTERSTATE ADOPTION

Interstate adoption is a process that must be adhered to when a baby is born in Pennsylvania but being adopted by a family living in another state. The process takes approximately 5-10 business days from the time the baby is discharged from the hospital, and the adoptive family needs to stay in the state where the baby is born until both involved states approve the information that is sent to them for review regarding the adoption plans.

All About Love Adoptions works with various attorneys and agencies around the country and would be happy to talk with families from any state who are interested in adopting in our program. The laws for termination of parental rights may follow the family´s home state or Pennsylvania regulations depending on the circumstances and venue choice of the birth parents.
